Overview:

The Paddy Crean International Workshop is the flagship workshop held by the IOSP, bringing together enthusiast of all levels for a weeks worth of sharing and learning.  The Paddy offers everything from historical fencing, stunt work, modern martial arts, fight direction, stage combat, intimacy and a wide variety of movement systems; artists and participants are drawn from all over the globe to join The Paddy, a truly unique, life changing experience.

Workshop Fees: $1809.34 CAD (Due at registration)
  • Includes Meal Plan (2 meals per day), Workshop Fee, Registration Fee and all applicable taxes
Shared Accommodation: $86.50-$96.50 CAD (per night, per person)
Single Accommodation: $173-$193 CAD (per night)
  • Rate determined by building choice. 
  • Accommodation Fees paid upon check out in Banff
Additional taxes and fees include: $15 Facility Fee per night, 2% Tourism Improvement Fee, 4% Alberta Tourism Levy, and 5% Goods and Services Tax

TOTAL COSTS: 
  • Shared Accommodation (Lloyd Hall rate): approximately $2,500 CAD
(approximately $1900 USD, $1750 EUR, $1500 GBP, $2850 AUD)
  • Single Accommodation (Lloyd Hall rate): approximately $3,000 CAD 
(approximately $2300 USD, $2100 EUR, $1800 GBP, $3450 AUD)

Meal Plan:

VERY IMPORTANT - different than past workshop years the Meal Plan allows for two meals per day, specifically lunch and dinner, as opposed to the previous flex plan - breakfast can be optionally purchased from the Banff Centre by participants if desired on the morning. This meal plan provides participants with a buffet style offering with workshop participants at the Vistas Dining Room. Room service is additional.

Conference Registration Notes & Cancellation
  • For cancellation requests received between September 1, 2023 and November 27, 2023 will receive a 50% refund of the registration fees, less an administration charge of $100 CAD.
  • Registration fees will not be refunded in any portion if cancellation is received after November 27, 2023.
  • Registration may be transferred to another individual for a $50.00 CAD administration fee. 
Accommodation Reservation Cancellation
  • Room cancellations must be received by the Banff Centre's Reservations office at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival.
  • Reservations canceled less than 72 hours prior to arrival are subject to a charge equivalent to one nights' stay plus taxes and fees.
